New York Stage Originals - Tap Kids Summer Intensive

The Tap Kids Rhythm Intensive, directed by Lisa Hopkins,  is a one of a kind program designed to challenge and inspire talented young tap dancers age 9-21. Each year up to 75 dancers are chosen to take part in the Tap Kids Rhythm Intensive  which offers unsurpassed training with some of the nation’s finest tap masters. Daily classes in a wide variety of styles as well as African drumming, Improvisation and Repertoire. All Tap Kids will perform in TK Showcase Performance at the Flynn Center downtown Burlington as well as have an opportunity to work with the cast and creators of the popular national touring show “Tap Kids”. All dancers will have the opportunity to learn and perform new original choreography by worldclass TK Faculty.
